It is designed to enable the gas powered cars of today to run at peak fuel efficiency, whether at highway speeds or rush-hour city traffic. The CVET's efficiency will make possible the commercialization of fuel cell vehicles at a much earlier stage than is presently considered possible. The CVET is a technology with the potential to be used universally in vehicles, whether gas powered, hybrid or fuel cell.
